About Us

Fortune Eximports was Established in 1996. We own a fleet of vehicles and are members of Charity Recycling Association, Recyclatex , Signatory to Textile 2030 and are TRUST certified merchant.

We are an environmentally friendly and ethical textile recycling company working to reduce landfill and are committed to reducing our carbon and water footprint.

We obtain a substantial amount of our used clothing, shoes and bric-a-brac working with Charities, Hospices, Schools, Places of Worship, HWRC sites, Local Authorities and by parking Textile Banks at privately owned sites i.e., private shops, car parks, petrol stations etc.

These organisations, in return, receive a fair rebate which helps them to further their objectives.

Our export markets are mainly East Africa, West Africa, Asia and Europe depending on the packing requirements and import laws of individual countries. We cater to a diverse clientele spread throughout the globe.

In total we process around 400,000 kilos every month. In designing and developing our project, major consideration has been given to reducing our carbon footprint which in turn benefits the environment and avoids having to use landfill sites.

We are members of the Textile Recycling Association (TRA), Charity Retail Association and RECYCLATEX and TRUST.

Our activities consist of collecting and processing

  • Used second-hand clothing
  • Used shoes
  • Used books
  • Bric-a-brac, Toys & Homeware
