The Niagara Falls, its bridges, and its casinos are the first things that come to mind for most people when they think of Niagara. The countryside in the Niagara region is home to some of the most verdant and fertile farmland in all North America, which is something that many people who live outside of the region are unaware of. Orchards are what made this region famous in the past, but in recent years it has been famous all over the world for its profusion of vineyards, despite the fact that it has always been famous for its many vineyards. Orchards of apples, pears, and peaches line the sides of virtually every one of Niagara’s rural roads, and you’ll see them as you travel across the region. The first of these orchards was most likely established in the middle of the 1800s by European settlers who had moved into the region. The Niagara Peach is defined by the fertile soil in which it grows as well as a sweet citrus delight that is moderate and retains its flavour for a relatively long period of time during the summer. The peaches are picked between the middle and end of the summer and are significantly bigger than those found in Georgia. When they are ready, they have a flavour that is light and airy, with traces of something sweet like nectar.
The foundation of this brew is a green Sencha, which was employed as the base tea in the blending process. Despite the fact that sencha is traditionally cultivated in Japan, a Chinese variety hailing from Hunan Province has been utilized. The master taster believed that this Chinese variety had a character that was not overpowering, making it an excellent candidate for mixing with peach. This particular form of Sencha tea, like all other varieties of Sencha tea, has dark green needle-shaped leaves and brews to a cup that is light green, brilliant yellow, and smooth, with a finish that is similar to honey. You’ll also note that we’ve added some delicate white jasmine flowers to this mixture; this is an addition that boosts the fruity, citrusy quality of the peaches. Prepare a batch today, and whether you like your coffee hot or over ice, you may enjoy the summer in Niagara with a cup of this.
