What a lovely way to start the day! Irish buttery smooth, with flavours of chocolate, coffee, and vanilla blending with the naturally fragrant bergamot. This tea has a naturally citrusy smell.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

Green tea, Candy*, Cornflower petals, Natural flavors, (*Candy: Sugar, Corn starch, Palm oil, Confectioner glaze, Modified corn starch, Soy lecithin, Xanthan gum, Polysorbate 60, Yellow#5, Blue#1 dye)

INFUSION: Pale yellow / green.

The 1912 ballad “When Irish Eyes are Smiling” is among the many songs about sparkling eyes, yet it stands out for its enduring popularity. When Ireland’s citizens grin, “things couldn’t be greater,” as the popular song goes.

The song, a success from the moment it was released, reached a wider audience during the “Shamrock Summit” in 1985. Former U.S. President Ronald Reagan and Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney sang “when Irish eyes are smiling” at their St. Patrick’s Day summit of negotiations. At the final stretch of the climb, they sung the song with a glimmer of optimism in their eyes. None of the two leaders had a voice like an angel, yet the legend endures.
