We are excited to introduce a new fruit tea that will generate as much buzz as Bernardo Bertolucci’s Last Tango in Paris did in 1972. If you haven’t watched the film, let’s just say that it sparked so much controversy in Italy that Bertolucci was given a 4-month suspended prison sentence. All existing prints of the film were also ordered destroyed by the court. What a lovely expression! Of course, we can’t reveal too much about the plot of the picture, which follows Marlon Brando’s character, a recently widowed American, as he pursues the affections of a much younger Parisian woman. We can only say that, much like a steaming cup of tea, this movie is sure to heat things up! Phew!
The provocative tone of the original film is present in Last Mango in Paris. The tea is a sensual combination of fresh tropical mango, sensuous hibiscus, elevating elderberry, seductive orange, enticing apple, and racy rosehips. Your engine will be revved up after drinking this cup. Sweet berries and delicate flower petals mingle with the smokiness and silkiness of mango. (Good goodness, nobody has ever gone to jail for creating excellent tea blends.)
Last Mango in Paris, like the “city of lights” it was named for, is a joy to experience at any hour of the day or night. To warm up on a chilly winter afternoon, prepare a potful and sip it with your significant other under the covers. Instead, if the weather gets hot and your pulse starts to race but there’s no one to share it with, pour the tea over ice to chill off. You’ll never forget your first time, no matter what happens. Get yourself a cup of tea, pop in a movie, close the blinds, and prepare for some nail-biting action!
