We’re all familiar with legends of Big Foot and the Loch Ness Monster, but how many of us have heard of the old myth of Red Headband? Yeti, a malevolent ghost in the form of a big man who resides in the crater of Mount Karthala, an active volcano on an island in the Comoros Archipelago, wears a red headband.
Stories of Crimson Headband, so called for the massive red headband that tames his unruly hair, have been told by islanders from Comoros from the beginning of time. When the giant emerges from his burrow, he can be as tall as a house and he often attacks herds of animals, bands of travelling hunters, and even unwary citizens of the town he lives in. The good news for the residents of the Comoros islands is that fresh guava has been shown to be an excellent deterrent. Some people in outlying communities fear that if they put fresh fruit outside their home, Red Headband will come and steal it. Why the fruit, we can only speculate. Is it the pleasantly sharp scent? Its soft, rosy, and creamy flesh? However, when confronted by a malicious behemoth, one does not inquire too deeply.
In any case, we imagine that a cup of Guava Comores green tea may accomplish the same thing. The fruity, earthy notes of premium Sencha-style green tea are well captured in this smooth tea. Senchas are distinguished by their dark green, needle-like leaves and their exceptionally brilliant, silky cups that end with a honey-like sweetness. The guava infusion keeps everything fluffy and delicious, with just a hint of creaminess. What about a crimson headband? Sip some of this fantastic tea once you’ve brewed it. Even while we can’t guarantee that your “issue” will vanish, we can guarantee that you’ll feel much less stressed about a number of things.
