Coconuts.Who, in all honesty, could find fault with them? The term “coconut” is generally attributed to the Portuguee explorer Marco Polo.Their three bottom holes reminded him of a happy face, so he called them “cocos” (a Portuguese word for “smile”)
The coconut tree is highly esteemed in many cultures because of the common idea that it may increase a person’s lifespan, despite this seeming contradiction.
People in tropical regions have relied on coconuts and the coconut tree for centuries, as practically every part of the coconut and the tree has some practical application. Where exactly does that irony culminate? Annually, falling coconuts kill 150 people. That’s a stunning 15-to-1 ratio when compared to sharks. Yikes.
The fact that coconut trees can potentially reach heights of 100 feet raises serious safety concerns. The good news is that this satisfyingly powerful tea tastes best when served at the standard table height of roughly 2 feet.
