It all started in a small home kitchen during the first, dreadful wave of the Covid19 pandemic in April of 2020, when most of the world was shackled indoors due to the rising pandemic. With nothing but one small fryer, hard work, and a big dream, HFC started attracting its first customers, and another half year of struggle, but persistence, it was finally established as an actual restaurant, opening its arms in September of 2020.

The key motivation behind this establishment was to fill the void of halal fried chicken in the Bay Area. The goal was to provide – especially to the Muslim community – KFC style fried chicken, but with a cricket theme and a Pakistani twist. 

Furthermore, this move made HFC the pioneer of Moreover, within a month or so, HFC’s was highlighted by  Voice of America, as well as the San Francisco Chronicle

Which was and will remain arguably the best media coverage on Yelp. When in 2021, Yelp also listed HFC’s chicken burgers as one of the top 30 in California, it was truly motivating, and heart-warming, which kept me passionate.
